Pick up from your hotel around 8:30-9:00am for a 2.5 ride to Tuan Chau Marina (transfer not included in cabin price). Have sometime to relax at our waiting lounge before boarding the cruise.

Afternoon

Upon getting on board, receive welcome drinks and safety briefing from our cruise manager. You can check in your beautiful cabin, have a quick rest before proceeding to lunch. As you enjoy the special menu, the cruise will slowly move towards Lan Ha Bay. Stop at Dark-Bright Cave to kayak and admire the serene beauty of the bay. If weather permits, another option is to visit Ba Trai Dao Beach - one of the most beautiful beaches in Lan Ha Bay. You can unwind on the sandy beach, kayak, and swim in the crystal-clear water.

Evening

Return to your boat in late afternoon to watch sunset over the Bay. Join our cooking class on board or Happy Hour at our bar. Dinner is served and evening is free time for your own activity (squid fishing, movie watching or just chill at our common area).

After enjoying breakfast, passengers will move to smaller boats which will take you to visit Viet Hai Fishing Village. You will cycle along the village (or use an electric car) to explore the daily life of its fishermen. At 12:00am, lunch will be served on the day boat.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, Orchid Cruise will bring tourists to Ba Men Temple - an untouched area for kayaking or relaxing on the beach. At 4:00pm, passengers will return to the main boat for resting and enjoying the seascape.

Evening

Dinner will be served around 7:00 pm. After that, tourists can enjoy their free time onboard: admiring Halong Bay beauty on the sundeck, sipping a drink and making new friends at the cruise’s luxury bar, watching a movie, or trying squid fishing with staff.

Dear Smit Garg, Please be advised that Orchid Classic and Orchid Trendy have similar itinerary, service quality and food menu. The only difference is Orchid Classic has fewer cabins but its cabin is larger (36m2 vs 28m2). Therefore, the price of Orchid Classic is higher. Please see the cost below:

Orchid Classic: USD 1080 for a suite balcony for 2 adults + 1 child for 2 night cruise
Orchid Trendy: USD 910 for a deluxe balcony for 2 adults + 1 child for 2 night cruise

Transfer: USD 160 for 3 persons for limousine bus Hanoi - Halong + a private MPV Halong - Hanoi airport

Dear Shan, Regarding the meals, it will be a buffet or set menu depending on different meals. Regarding the itinerary, I am sorry that they will use a day boat for activities on the second day and it will not return to the main boat until the afternoon thus you should decide if you join it or not. Regarding the drop-off after the cruise, we suggest you the 2 following options: 1/ By shuttle bus: Our bus can only drop off in Hanoi Old Quarter and you will reach Hanoi between 2:30pm-3:00pm. We do not offer a direct bus to the airport but our van can continue to the airport after dropping off guests in downtown Hanoi. Please be advised that if you take the 3D2N, on day 2, you would transfer to a day boat for further excursion and the mother boat will return to the port to pick up new passengers. As the bus only collects from Hanoi Old Quarter, you need to take a taxi to the center of Hanoi by 9:30am to join the bus or you can take a taxi straight to the pier (2 hour drive). Dear DJ Lee, Thank you for your question! It is correct that Azalea cruise departs from Hai Phong. If you arrive at 11:00am, you can still arrive on time for the cruise (boarding time is around 12:15-12:30pm) - it takes just 30 minutes to get from Hai Phong airport to the pier. Please see our policy for trip cancellation due to bad weather below: 1/ If the tour is cancelled in advance with prior notice, full refund will be made. 2/ If the tour is cancelled midway through, you will be charged for service already use (such as shortened cruise trip, or breakfast, or shuttle bus, whichever applies in specific case). The cruise is guaranteed to run from 1 November as we are almost booked for the beginning of November please no worries. In the rare case that it does not operate by then, you will receive full refund OR Free upgrade to higher class cruise (at your acceptance). I hope this information addresses well your question. Actually both Azalea and Orchid follow the same itinerary and share similar quality standard, only boat layout is different. Orchid cruise has fewer cabins and larger rooms, so if you do not mind the budget and prefer more privacy, you can take Orchid. Otherwise Azalea is also a great alternative as well (all of Azalea's cabins has balcony, bathtub and TV too). Hi, In reviewing your ship I see that you open for business late Nov 2017. Does that ship depart daily for 3D/2N trips. I'm aware that the orchid sails back to the port to drop off and pick up on the 2nd day of a 3D/2N trip, is this the same process? So Can I book any day to start my trip. Was thinking 13th March 2018? Also when going to book the cruise on the website, it only offer the luxury room. Which is great (appears best room on board the vessel). A lovely, enjoyable cruise boat. The view was incredible, the cabins were spacious, the food was so much and nice that we wouldnot get hungry with 5 course served. The butler made sure our kids had enough food on each meals (we requested low sugar food for them). Even though squid fishing was at late night we were absolutely excited about it and couldn't miss the chance.

the best period in Vietnam!!!! Overnight cruise was outstanding as the way the food and the staff were. Each cabin of us got own butler who cared for us throughout the stay. John was next to us along the way of the trip. Just him, always him. The sea was clear for a swim and even it rained while we were swimming out of the boat, it couldn't bore it. Squid fishing at late night and went on kayak the next morning. Wouldn't recommend it enough, we had the best time ever.

Me and my wife had a nice stay onboard. The cabin was amazing, the balcony was private, the food was tasteful, the activities were well planned for all ages. We had a waiter named John for our meals who served everything we needed. Such a nice cruising stay! Love all.

Views were breathtaking, there were activities all day long. Nani greeted us warmly and made sure we had the best experience. We were always pleased by his kindness. Orchid was fantastic, every cabin had its own private balcony and full bathroom. Food was exceptional, staff was incredibly generous. I'd like to show that Louis was a standout took great care of us throughout the trip. We also loved the tai chi sessions worth getting up early. Overall, it was the best trip ever!

I reached out to booking assistant Ms. Phoebe who helped us with everything. She arranged our transportation from the old town to Ha Long, processed check-in, and even asked if we had any special food requirements. We had a trip that was smooth and safe. We started enjoying the cruise at 1:30 pm with lunch served by Louis. Manager Eddy was exceptional, and everyone on the team was so. My waiters worked with all the enthusiasm and sincerity, the food was fresh and delicious, the drinks were fantastic, thanks to the bartenders. My room was new and luxurious with high-quality toiletries. Orchid Trendy Cruises has become a really special part of our Vietnam trip!
