Get picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (extra fee) and start a 2.5 hour drive to Tuan Chau Marina.
AfternoonCheck in onboard. Enjoy a welcome drink and listen to the safety briefing by the cruise manager while the vessel starts cruising to the bay. Lunch is served in the restaurant on 2nd deck. The first stop is Sung Sot Cave – the biggest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. The second stop is Titop Island for hiking or swimming (Towels are supplied). Back to the cruise, join a cooking class and enjoy Happy Hour promotion (Buy One Get One Free) at sunset time.
EveningSet menu dinner is served at 7:00 pm. After dinner, you can try your hand at squid fishing or mini-golf, spa service, etc.

Start your new day with Tai Chi session on the sundeck and refill your energy with a light breakfast in the restaurant. The cruise proceeds to Luon Cave. You will kayaking or paddleboarding through the cave and enjoy the peaceful scenery and majestic mountains here. Return to the vessel and get ready for check out at 9:30 am. Savor a hearty brunch buffet in the dining room while admiring the magnificent view of Halong Bay on the way back to the harbor. Disembark at around 11:00 am.

Early risers may want to refresh your body and mind with fresh air and a Taichi session on the sundeck. Light breakfast is ready at 6:45. At 8:30 am, a day boat will pick you up to head to deeper areas of the heritage and join the excursions for the whole day. Visit Cua Van floating fishing village by traditional sampan or kayak.
AfternoonEnjoy lunch on the day boat. In the afternoon, explore Trinh Nu Cave area by kayak. At 3:00 pm, back to Catherine Cruise, relax in the swimming pool or join other onboard activities with new passengers.

- Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay:
- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such case, we will make alternative travel arrangement for you on request or offer refund in accordance with the cruise policy.
Cruise inclusions & options
- More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates
- From 10 to 7 days prior to check-in: 30% of total rates.
- Less than 7 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.
- No-Show: 100% of total rates.
- Cancellation notice must be in written form and send to us via email. Refund will be processed between 5-7 business days.
- Check in on board: 12:15pm.
- Check out: 10:45am.
- Return Hanoi: 2:30pm.
- The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
- Children from 4-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate.
- Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.
- Peak Season Surcharge: Surcharge $45/adult and $35/child for Gala dinner applies if guests stay on board on 24/12, 31/12 and Lunar New Year (28, 29, 30, 31/01/2025).
- Holiday Surcharge: Surcharge $30/adult if guests stay onboard on Independence Day Sep 2, 2025. Surcharge $45/guest if guests stay onboard on 30 April and 1 May.
- On the second day (2-night itinerary), you will travel on day boat and do not have access to mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon.

On Halong Bay Tours page for Catherine Cruises 3 day 2 night trip, it clearly indicate Free Kayaking and Free 60' foot/body massage, yet the Cruise Inclusions & Options indicates that Massaging Service is not included in the price. Please advise whether the quoted price include 60' foot/body massage per person
Dear Tri J Vugia, We would like to clarify that the complimentary 60-minute foot/body massage mentioned on our website is our special offer redeemable at La Flora Spa in Hanoi, not on the Catherine Cruise. Hi. Is is advisable to book a flight from Danang to Cat Bi airport which lands at 11 AM. Can you transport us from CAt Bi airport to the cruise and then from the cruise to Hanoi on the day of disembarkation?
Dear Ankit, Regarding your flight landing at 11 AM at Cat Bi Airport, it's advisable to consider an earlier option. The drive from Cat Bi to Halong Bay takes 45 minutes to an hour, and any flight delays could cause you to miss the cruise departure. To avoid this risk, I recommend booking a flight that lands no later than 10:30 AM. If you still prefer the 11 AM flight, we can arrange a private car transfer from Cat Bi Airport to Halong Bay for USD 45 (for two people). Dear Kitrick Lee, Our bus can pick you up at Minerva Premium Hotel but unfortunately Lotte Hotel is located outside of the Old Quarter thus we will drop you off in the Old Quarter so that you can take a taxi to Lotte Hotel.
