Morning
Get picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (extra fee) and start a 2.5 hour drive to Tuan Chau Marina.
AfternoonCheck in onboard. Enjoy a welcome drink and listen to the safety briefing by the cruise manager while the vessel starts cruising to the bay. Lunch is served in the restaurant on 2nd deck. The first stop is Luon Cave. You will kayaking through the cave and enjoy the peaceful scenery and majestic mountains here. The second stop is Titop Island for hiking or swimming (Towels are supplied). Back to the cruise, join a cooking class and enjoy Happy Hour promotion (Buy One Get One Free) at sunset time.
EveningSet menu dinner is served at 7:15 pm. After dinner, you can try your hand at squid fishing or mini-golf, spa service, etc.

Morning
Start your new day with Tai Chi session on the sundeck and refill your energy with a light breakfast in the restaurant. The cruise proceeds to Sung Sot Cave – the biggest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. Return to the vessel and get ready for check out at 9:15 am. Savor a hearty brunch buffet in the dining room while admiring the magnificent view of Halong Bay on the way back to the harbor. Disembark at around 10:45 am

- Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay:
- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such case, we will make alternative travel arrangement for you on request or offer refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

Booking Policy
- More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates
- From 10 to 7 days prior to check-in: 30% of total rates.
- Less than 7 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.
- No-Show: 100% of total rates.
- Cancellation notice must be in written form and send to us via email. Refund will be processed between 5-7 business days.
Cruising Policy
- Check in on board: 12:15pm.
- Check out: 10:45am.
- Return Hanoi: 2:30pm.
- The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
- Children from 4-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate.
- Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.
- Peak Season Surcharge: Surcharge $45/adult and $35/child for Gala dinner applies if guests stay on board on 24/12, 31/12 and Lunar New Year (28, 29, 30, 31/01/2025).
- Holiday Surcharge: Surcharge $30/adult if guests stay onboard on Independence Day Sep 2, 2024
- On the second day (2-night itinerary), you will travel on day boat and do not have access to mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon.

Really satisfied with this choice. Would recommend to everyone, especially for families and couples. The crew will be there with you and make all your requests come true. The environment is so relaxing like homey and if I could go back again I would not miss the opportunity to stay in our Grand Suite longer. Also happy that the check-in counter was smooth (which I was warned about because it can be busy with a lot of guests paying at the same time).
Also thanks to Van for getting up early and preparing everything before we join in outdoor activities.

Service of this ship is very good. The staff is also nice. The food offers many choices and takes care of each of our special food requirements. Jerry butler followed all our needs by arranging a baby seat for my 3yo little daughter. He seems to be very experienced in taking care of and playing around with children. Words alone are probably never enough to thank him and Catherine ship.

The room is beautiful and has a magnificent view, especially the bathroom. The whole area felt so peaceful and relaxing. We want to mention meals in particular, a highlight was the dinner from the 5-star restaurant. I am not usually into seafood, but the chefs totally won me over with grilled squid and shrimp.
Ms Van made our stay even better with her warm, thoughtful care. She shared so much about Ha Long and Viet Nam, and thanks to her advice, we went on to Hoi An. We were really grateful for that.
Everything was on time to the minute. We didn't know how to get away from the crowded areas there to have a more relaxing atmosphere with a deserted beach and some music would be good (as my friend recommended) I also found the surrounding ships very peaceful and devoid of tourists but we can't expect everything to be perfect anyway.

Fantastic trip on Catherine Cruise. Every moment was great from the welcome to the incredible cruise staff. The room and food were amazing. No faults whatsoever.
We want to thank Daniel for looking after us and attending to all my needs. Even made it so outstanding. He was also very helpful and kind in sorting a private car to Ninh Binh for us at the last minute. Thank you for all your hard work. Hope to see you again next time!

The staff were really nice and went out of their way to please us, special mention to Janni and the reception department. They decorated the room beautifully for our wedding anniversary. Perhaps the best option in ha long.
Good choice of food. They had this prepared separately as we were guests from different countries.
We had a 5-course dinner which was delicious but it was a bit limited in terms of choice as everything was set. Not to mention we were not expecting to use some more water that was extra charged and they claimed they could only provide 1 bottle of water per person per day. Actually ha long bay is so crowded and busy it means you can't expect a private and peaceful trip. You even will find yourself busy trying to catch up with the schedule that was planned perfectly down to the second. A big issue with the checkout was that it was chaotic when all guests made payments at the same time.

Thanks for the 3 days 2 nights cruise. Ha Long was amazing. The boat was amazing too, with top notch facilities and took us to tourist attractions that are very famous for their scenery and culture. We hunted for Sung Sot cave and Titop island and made sure every trip to Ha Long included them. We could do a lot of things, cycling, kayaking, swimming.
The whole crew of Catherine was kind. We would like to meet Jerry again and thank him for being such a great butler during our stay. We wish to stay longer on this boat on the 2nd day. Will definitely come back and recommend it to our friends!

My comfort is prior. All the staff treated me well, especially Daniel who was my own butler and was so amazing and kind. I almost didn't want to leave the boat to be with him longer!

Staff did a great job making sure we had enough food and there were always so many choices for sightseeing and relaxing. Villa President Suite was spacious with a large balcony. We really enjoyed the pool and squid fishing.
Could have provided more water and snacks!!! Hallway floors can be dangerous if wet. Please provide lots of in4 about the places we visited.
