Day 1: Hanoi - Tuan Chau - Halong Bay
Morning

Get picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (extra fee) and start a 2.5 hour drive to Tuan Chau Marina. 

Afternoon

Check in onboard. Enjoy a welcome drink and listen to the safety briefing by the cruise manager while the vessel starts cruising to the bay. Lunch is served in the restaurant on 2nd deck. The first stop is Luon Cave. You will kayaking through the cave and enjoy the peaceful scenery and majestic mountains here. The second stop is Titop Island for hiking or swimming (Towels are supplied). Back to the cruise, join a cooking class and enjoy Happy Hour promotion (Buy One Get One Free) at sunset time.

Evening

Set menu dinner is served at 7:15 pm. After dinner, you can try your hand at squid fishing or mini-golf, spa service, etc.

Day 2: Halong Bay - Tuan Chau - Hanoi
Morning Start your new day with Tai Chi session on the sundeck and refill your energy with a light breakfast in the restaurant. The cruise proceeds to Sung Sot Cave – the biggest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. Return to the vessel and get ready for check out at 9:15 am. Savor a hearty brunch buffet in the dining room while admiring the magnificent view of Halong Bay on the way back to the harbor. Disembark at around 10:45 am

Booking Policy
  • More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge 
  • From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates 
  • From 10 to 7 days prior to check-in: 30% of total rates. 
  • Less than 7 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates. 
  • No-Show: 100% of total rates.
  • Cancellation notice must be in written form and send to us via email. Refund will be processed between 5-7 business days.
Cruising Policy
  • Check in on board: 12:15pm.
  • Check out:  10:45am.
  • Return Hanoi: 2:30pm.
  • The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
  • Children from 4-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate.
  • Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.
  • Peak Season Surcharge: Surcharge $45/adult and $35/child for Gala dinner applies if guests stay on board on 24/12, 31/12 and Lunar New Year (28, 29, 30, 31/01/2025).
  • Holiday Surcharge: Surcharge $30/adult if guests stay onboard on Independence Day Sep 2, 2024
  • On the second day (2-night itinerary), you will travel on day boat and do not have access to mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon.

Dear Saraswathi Mopuru, Transfer between Hanoi and Halong is not included for Catherine Cruise. It cost 35 USD/per person/extra for shuttle bus round trip, pick-up and drop-off in Hanoi Old Quarter.

So, I would love to suggest you Essence Grand Cruise which is of similar quality but their 3D2N itinerary has been running for months with very good feedbacks from our guests. For Catherine Cruise, we offer shuttle bus Hanoi - Halong - Hanoi at US$ 35/person. As the bus can only pick you up and drop you off in the Old Quarter (including Period Hotel), we can arrange you a connecting car to the airport at US$ 20 extra and you can reach the airport at around 3:00 - 3:30 PM May I ask what time is your flight and if it is domestic or international? Went for 1 night on Catherine. The facilities were modern. The pool was nice. We were well taken care of by the whole team. A special thanks to our butler, Minh Phu. He was attentive and kind. The scenery was really amazing.
Pearl farm trip was a bit boring. May be more information about the bay.
