Get picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (extra fee) and start a 2.5 hour drive to Tuan Chau Marina.
AfternoonCheck in onboard. Enjoy a welcome drink and listen to the safety briefing by the cruise manager while the vessel starts cruising to the bay. Lunch is served in the restaurant on 2nd deck. The first stop is Sung Sot Cave – the biggest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. The second stop is Titop Island for hiking or swimming (Towels are supplied). Back to the cruise, join a cooking class and enjoy Happy Hour promotion (Buy One Get One Free) at sunset time.
EveningSet menu dinner is served at 7:00 pm. After dinner, you can try your hand at squid fishing or mini-golf, spa service, etc.

Start your new day with Tai Chi session on the sundeck and refill your energy with a light breakfast in the restaurant. The cruise proceeds to Luon Cave. You will kayaking or paddleboarding through the cave and enjoy the peaceful scenery and majestic mountains here. Return to the vessel and get ready for check out at 9:30 am. Savor a hearty brunch buffet in the dining room while admiring the magnificent view of Halong Bay on the way back to the harbor. Disembark at around 11:00 am.

Early risers may want to refresh your body and mind with fresh air and a Taichi session on the sundeck. Light breakfast is ready at 6:45. At 8:30 am, a day boat will pick you up for the excursions the whole day. Visit Viet Hai village on Cat Ba Island by bicycle or electric car.
AfternoonEnjoy lunch on the day boat. In the afternoon, kayak around Tai Queo Cave, a stunning tunnel-shaped cave. Then, the day boat heads to Ba Trai Dao area for swimming. Back to Catherine Cruise at 4:00 pm. Relax in the swimming pool or join other onboard activities with new passengers.

- Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay:
- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such case, we will make alternative travel arrangement for you on request or offer refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

- More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates
- From 10 to 7 days prior to check-in: 30% of total rates.
- Less than 7 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.
- No-Show: 100% of total rates.
- Cancellation notice must be in written form and send to us via email. Refund will be processed between 5-7 business days.
- Check in on board: 12:15pm.
- Check out: 10:45am.
- Return Hanoi: 2:30pm.
- The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
- Children from 4-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate.
- Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.
- Peak Season Surcharge: Surcharge $45/adult and $35/child for Gala dinner applies if guests stay on board on 24/12, 31/12 and Lunar New Year (28, 29, 30, 31/01/2025).
- Holiday Surcharge: Surcharge $30/adult if guests stay onboard on Independence Day Sep 2, 2024
- On the second day (2-night itinerary), you will travel on day boat and do not have access to mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon.

Ask a questionHello, We are a family wanting to book the Royal suite (2 adults, 2 children (aged 2 and 4) and one baby (7months). We understand the 4 year old is 75% chargeable. The system will not allow me to add the baby. The baby shares bed with parents and the Royal Suite is perfect for us to all book and stay together as a family. How do I include baby on our booking? Incredible experiences will last with us for a life. We were blown out of the water by all belonging to this cruise: facilities, timeline, staff, service, spa, shuttle bus transfer.
Cabins really cozy and beautifully decorated. All have private balconies. As a big party of 12, they kindly arrange cabins next to each other and put the outstanding service down.
Our gluten-free food was well served. Special mention to Peter, DUng, Van who care for every little bit. can't wait to come back next year with my sweetie
A brand new cruise. Everything is ordered upon our arrival. We booked Royal Suite. It was large and luxurious. Our butler Van cared for us throughout the trip. Her sweetheart really touched our hearts. Halong bay is amazing, and exploring it on Catherine Cruise is a must. It has 39 cabins wrapped whole up with an entertaining atmosphere at night. Amazing!!! definitely try at least once.
