Day 1: Hanoi - Tuan Chau - Lan Ha Bay
Morning

Our driver pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi old quarter (surcharge) and start a 2.5-hour drive to Tuan Chau Harbor. After doing the luggage check-in at the port, being transfered to Erina Cruise by a tender boat. Welcome onboard. Enjoy welcome drink and meet crew team in the safety briefing before the trip. 

Afternoon

Enjoy lunch while the vessel cruises to Lan Ha Bay, crossing uniquely shaped islets such as Con Vit islet (Duck Islet), Thumb islet. Erina Cruise drops anchor at a secluded area for swimming. You can opt to stay onboard, immerse in the jacuzzi pool or sunbathe on the sundeck. Then, back to Erina Cruise and join sunset party. A cooking demonstration will take place at 18:30.

Evening

At 19:00, enjoy a sumptuous dinner in the cozy and intimate space of the restaurant. After dinner, you can play games, fish squid, book a massage service (surcharge) or relax in the cabin.

Get up early for dawn or the Tai-chi lesson on the sundeck. Have a light breakfast while Erina continues to cruise to the beautiful bay. Stop at Dark - Bright Cave area - one of the most beautiful and tranquil areas in Lan Ha Bay. To explore the cave, you can choose a kayak or comfortably sit on a sampan boat rowed by a local. Return to the ship and prepare for check-out. After check out your cabin, back to restaurant to enjoy brunch. Back to Tuan Chau Harbor at around 11:30. Bus picks you up to go to Hanoi (surcharge). Arrive in Hanoi at around 3:00 - 3:30 pm.

Have breakfast and prepare some belongings before being transferred to a day boat for the day excursions. The day boat picks you up at 8:30 - 9:00 and progresses to the deeper part of Lan Ha Bay. You get on Cat Ba Island and start the trip to Viet Hai Village. Take a biking trip for around 5 km around the village, you have a chance to watch the dense jungle, enjoy the fresh atmosphere and meet the locals. Electric car is another option in the tour.

Afternoon

Back to the day boat. Enjoy a Vietnamese-style lunch on the day boat. In the afternoon, you have around 1 hour for kayaking. Then swim at one of hidden beaches in Ba Trai Dao area. Return to Erina cruise at around 16:00 - 16:30. Freshen up and relax. You can join onboard activities with new passengers, enjoy a tea break on the sundeck or simply watch the magnificent sunset on the bay.

Evening

Enjoy dinner. Free time for night activities.

  • The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
  • Children from 4 - 7 will pay an extra 50% of adult rate. 
  • Children from 8 - 11 will pay an extra 75% of adult rate. 
  • Children aged 12 and above must pay full fare as an adult.
  • Peak season surcharge: Surcharge $30/adult and $15/child for bookings on Christmas 24/12/2024, New Year 31/12/2024, Lunar New Year (28 - 29/01/2025), and Independence Day (1-2-3/9/2025).
  • On the second day you will travel on a day boat and do not have access to the mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon (for 3 days/2 nights itinerary)

  • Cancellation by the cruise for reasons related to a situation of force majeure, such as government restriction or regulation, health, natural disasters, acts of God, etc., customers will be refunded the amount depending on circumstances.
  • If the tour has yet to take place, full refund will be made.
  • If the tour is ongoing, partial refund will be made. No refunds or exchanges can be made while the tour is ongoing and the customer decides to opt out. If you do not use any of the service, no compensation will be given for the unused portion of the tour.

Dear KC, Thank you for your question! We are very happy to hear from you! We do not offer a direct bus to the airport, so after the shuttle bus drops off all guests in the Hanoi Old Quarter, we will help you arrange the extended ride by a private car to the airport. The bus will drop you off on the way back where the private car waits for you (2 drivers will contact themselves to take you to the airport smoothly and you will reach Hanoi Airport before 4:30pm as said). I would like to answer your questions as follows: (1) Yes, the shuttle bus will pick you up from your hotel if you stay in the Hanoi Old Quarter, the cost for a shuttle bus round trip Hanoi - Halong - Hanoi is $30/ person. Please let us know if you prefer a private car transfer. (2) The pickup time is around 8:15 - 8:45 am at your hotel. (3) After the trip, you will arrive in Hanoi at around 2:30 - 3:00 pm. We stayed 3 days long on Erina, it was truly a wonderful part of the world. From the start I saw the choice of this bay was right. Kim took care throughout the whole process, his attentiveness enhanced every overall experience. We felt real value. Recommend this boat to all.

Recommend this ship with all my heart. Food, room, facilities were ready in a great setting when we boarded. Staff were super efficient.
Drinks seemed a bit pricey but that's to be expected for a trip amidst that bay. Happy Hour was buy 2 get 3 free but for a couple like us that was unnecessary. Drinks were pretty good anyway.

My fiancé and I had a memorable honeymoon together! First of all the staff, especially Mr. Kim who sealed with us by taking care of us and making sure we were comfortable. Waitress Jenni was efficient and superb as if she was our long time best friend whom we didn't know before. Food was beautifully decorated and tasted great. I could understand how hard they tried to please all the guests from different countries. Our President room was nicely decorated and fully equipped. Most of the guests only stayed for 1 night, but we stayed for 2 nights so we had plenty of time to relax without any botherings. Talking about the itinerary, a visit to Viet Hai village by bike really took center stage. They also arranged electric cars for those who didn't like this. The trip left us with joy and laughter and an experience not to be missed.
I was not surprised to see that the ship was a bit older and perhaps renovations were needed to make it more luxurious and clean. Just our opinion, we still loved the ship and overall experience was almost perfect.

Our pick up from the hotel was smooth and convenient. Cruise organizers offered a lot of activities but perfectly balanced with rest time. Meals were served in buffet style and a la carte but so hard to ask for nuts in the meal.
No wifi connected. Along with very loud music. I paid a lot for the cruise but unfortunately for that price I could have visited a lot of other places around Ha Long Bay. I believe a day cruise is a good option.

The boat was great and felt private as sometimes I had the sundeck to myself. The crew did a wonderful job: chef provided enough food, waiters served quickly, and housekeepers kept my room clean at all times. I enjoyed the balcony and the nice view.
Have someone explain the itinerary. Drinks comes with an extra charge.

Our recent trip with Erina was warmly welcomed by the staff who did a great job. The activities on board were various to keep us busy full time. The welcome drinks and lunch added a great start to our wonderful experiences.
The cleanliness on board didn't meet the 5-star quality we expected (e.g., toilet seat surfaces, lack of toilet paper, no soap). Additionally, we felt uncomfortable being asked to leave a review before the trip ended. He assured me that there were no negative comments that felt unfair, and it shouldn't happened this way.
