Morning

Get picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter area (surcharge) and start a 2.5-hour drive to Tuan Chau harbor. Embark on the boat and check in your cabin. 

Afternoon

Savor a hearty lunch while Hermes Cruise sets sail to Halong Bay. The ship puts anchor at Luon Cave where you can participate in kayaking or relax on a sampan boat rowed by a local to admire the scenery. Later, progress to Titop Island for swimming and hiking. You can immerse in the seawater, relax on the sandy beach, or climb up over 400 steps to reach the peak and watch the panoramic view of Halong. Then, back to the vessel, enjoy Sun Set party, or book a massage service to pamper yourself. Early birds may want to join a Taichi class on the sundeck. Then, have breakfast and prepare some belongings for the day trip. Day boat picks you up at around 8:30 and moves to the deeper parts in Halong Bay. The first stop is Trinh Nu Cave area where you can kayak to discover the rocky mountains for an hour and a half.

Afternoon

Lunch is served on the day boat. Later, you will visit Me Cung Cave. Return to the mother boat and have free time until dinner. You can choose to join Sunset Party, Happy Hour, or cooking class, or simply unwind on the sun loungers on the top deck.

Evening

Enjoy a fusion set-menu dinner. Free time for night activities.

  • From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates

  • Cancellation notice must be in written form and send to us via email. Refund will be processed between 5-7 business days.
Cruise Policy
  • Check in on board: 12:00pm

  • Return Hanoi: 3:00pm
  • The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
  • Children from 4-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate.
  • Children 11 and above must pay full fare as adult.
  • Peak season surcharge: Surcharge $50/adult and $40/child for Gala dinner applies if guests stay on board on December 24th and/or December 31st 2024. Surcharge $25/person/night on Lunar New Year (28, 29, 30, 31/1/2025).
  • On the second day you will travel on day boat and do not have access to mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon.

- Shuttle bus Halong - Hanoi & connecting car to the airport: US$ 20 for 2 persons => You will reach the airport at around 3:30 - 4:00 pm
- Private car Halong - Hanoi airport: US$ 110 for 2 persons => You will reach the airport at around 2:00 - 2:30 pm

Hi There, I just had a couple questions. My boyfriend and I were looking to do the 2 day/1 night cruise Oct 22 2024. We will be coming from Hanoi and then after the cruise are heading to Ninh Binh. I see the transfer is included, but is that just to/from to Hanoi? Or is it possible to have one way be to Ninh Binh? The disembarkation time at the pier will be at about 11:15-11:30am and if you use a private car to go straight to Hanoi Airport, you will only be able to reach the airport by 14:00. 1/ If the tour is cancelled in advance with prior notice, full refund will be made.
2/ If the tour is cancelled midway through, you will be charged for service already use (such as shortened cruise trip, or breakfast, or shuttle bus, whichever applies in specific case).

The cruise organizer can arrange to arrange the bus for you one day earlier, however, please note that they will drop you off at the cruise pier and you will have to take a taxi to your hotel. You can book hotels in Tuan Chau Marina which is close to the waiting lounge, or a hotel in Bai Chay area, which is around 20-minute drive. As I have checked, the Junior Suite connecting rooms are still available and our offer is US$ 740 for 2 Junior Suite cabins with free shuttle service. Hi,I am planning to book this package for 22nd July. But, I am staying in Sheraton. We are couple traveller. Can the pick-up be done from Sheraton or else it will be difficult to come to old quarters in the morning with the luggage?

And please be noted that our bus can only drop off in Hanoi Old Quarter. If you want to book a flight after the cruise trip, please book one after 5:30pm to avoid rushing between places. OR you can also fly from Hai Phong which is closer to Halong Bay. (2) At the moment, the shuttle bus round trip Hanoi - Halong - Hanoi is free. Thank Tommy for very good hospitality. Activities were enjoyable. All the things in the cabin were perfect. Really appreciate the effort made by the chef and the team for preparing the veg/Indian food. Hermes is very good cruise but very few people are aware about it outside of Vietnam. The marketing can be done and it can attract more number of tourist. Indian tourists will love this. We also have Indian cuisine (1 or 2 dishes). That would help them.

Everything about the cabin was absolutely great. The view from the balcony was very beautiful and splendid.
Maybe add a sunset or sunrise watching activity in addition to Taichi and the Happy Hour.

It was a first class ship and a truly memorable trip. Really a highlight of my Vietnam exploration within 2w. Every activity was like inviting me to join. we were looked after with the best service, amazing food and a room with a stunning view. The crew was wonderful, especially when I got a minor injury entering Sung Sot Cave. They looked after me like a friend and treated everyone with the same warmth. We’re really happy with everything they did. Thanks thanks.

Overall, it was really good. We booked Royal Suite had a beautiful view. As for food was a mix of different cuisines from around the world, but I think it could use more bread and some salty cheese. Tommy led all, was very experienced, and shared a lot about the trip.

Mr. Tommy showed fantastic hospitality, as a professional manager and excellent staff. Varieties of things to eat and do, delicious and interesting. The rooms were clean, the wifi worked well which was a plus (which I was worried might not work). Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Recommend it to everybody!
