Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay
Morning

You will be greeted at your hotel in the Old Quarter to take the new highway to Tuan Chau Pier (if booked with our transfer service).

Afternoon

Be welcomed onboard, enjoy the welcome drink while listening to a safety briefing and a short program introduction from the cruise manager. Lunch is served in Tonkin restaurant on the third floor while the cruise heads to the Dark-Bright Cave area. From 14:45 to 16:30, you start your kayaking trip or sit on the sampan boat rowed by the local people to visit the cave. Then, return to cruise enjoy swimming in the bay. At 17:45, the cruise moves to the sleeping point and puts the anchor overnight.

Evening

A cooking demonstration with Spring Rolls or Fruit Carving will be held before a sumptuous and romantic dinner is served. After dinner, try your luck with squid fishing, gather around to play cards or dominos, or book a massage service to rejuvenate your body after an active day. Overnight on board.

Back to the cruise at around 9 am, you pack and have your luggage transferred to the harbor in advance. Back to Tuan Chau Marina at around 11:30 am and get on the bus to Hanoi (if book our transfer).

Joining the Taichi session on the sundeck, you have a chance to witness the tranquil beauty of the bay in the early morning. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 8:30. Start your day trip by speed boat to reach Viet Hai Village – an ancient local village on Cat Ba island. You can choose to ride a bike or visit the village by electric car, learn about the daily life and culture of the locals.

Afternoon

Back to the boat, you have lunch while the boat runs to Ba Trai Dao (Three Peaches) Beach – one of the most beautiful natural beaches on Lan Ha Bay. You have around 1 hour for kayaking and swimming in the Ba Trai Dao area.

Evening

After kayaking or swimming, back to the boat to wait for the sunset or join the cooking demonstration. Dinner set menu will be served at 19:15. Overnight on board.

The sharing bus can pick you up within Hanoi Old Quarter and the remaining can collect you from anywhere that you offered. Dear Castor, A cabin is normally for 2 guests and if you are 3, you can choose either 1 cabin with an extra bed or 2 separate cabins. The option with extra bed costs less than 2 cabins because the 3rd person will need to pay for a single cabin if taking a separate one. The cruises may start/finish at Tuan Chau Marina or Halong International Cruise Port in Halong. It will take around 2,5 hour transfer between Hanoi and Halong. Almost all the cruises start at around 11:30 - 12:00 and the finish time may be from 10:30 to 12:00 depending on each cruise. The cruise can place an extra bed in the room for the 3rd person and the fee is a half price of one cabin including all things as others. 2. I am sorry that Indochine Cruise does not offer daily trip due to low volume and mainly operate trip on weekends. Is there anyway you can consider a trip on Friday? Please be advised that the shuttle only picks up and drops off in Hanoi so if you want to go to Tam Coc after the cruise, you will need to go by a private car or by public bus at the bus station.. Such a high quality boat and an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately at the time of heading on the trip, Typhoon Yagi damaged Northern Vietnam, at a dangerous level, we had to cancel all cruise plans due to the typhoon. I can understand that was an experience I needed to take in this serious situation. And then they convinced us to amen other day after the typhoon left. I did not hesitate to say yes and changed my plan a week afterward. We had a Suite with a huge bed, comfortable space, a sea-view bathtub and great balcony. All can be died for. The food was excellent both at lunchtime buffet and the dinner meals. Notably the staff were busy all the time to keep us enjoyable and entertained which was icing on the cake. All in all, it's the best cruise we've ever stayed in.

We booked 2 days and 1 night trip on INDOCHINE CRUISE. It was honestly amazing. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The meals were delicious. Kayaking to floating villages was a favorite part.

Things went smoothly. The landscape was wonderful. Kayaking at Bright cave was excellent. Exceptional service by JP and his dedicated team. We were taken care of in every activity and any time. 2 nights were recommended because we had more time to relax. The biking tour at the village was quite interesting.

We loved the cabin, very pretty and clean, nice view. The room on the upper deck was recommended. The food was so yummy, we never felt hungry throughout the trip. The crew was very polite and always wanted to help. We were well looked after. Thank you.
