Morning

Shuttle bus picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (extra fee). After checking in at Tuan Chau Pier, a tender transfer you to La Pandora cruise. Enjoy a welcome drink and listen to the safety instruction while the cruise starts sailing to Lan Ha Bay. 

Afternoon

A hearty lunch with Vietnamese cuisine is served in the restaurant. After lunch, you rest a bit before getting off the boat for a trip around Ong Cam Area. Here you can kayak or swim in the crystal clear water of Lan Ha Bay. Then, back to La Pandora for Sunset Party and cooking demonstration with a Vietnamese traditional dish.

Evening

You will take a bicycle trip through rain forests along Viet Hai Village, visit a local house, and know more about the daily life of local people.

Afternoon

Lunch is served on the day boat. After taking a rest, continue to visit Van Boi Area - one of the most untouched areas with pristine beaches in Lan Ha bay. Enjoy kayaking or swimming. Return to La Pandora Cruise at around 16:30. Relax or free time for activities onboard.

Evening

  • Child from 10 years old: Charged 100% of the given price.
  • Peak season surcharge: Surcharge of $25 per person per night applies for travel date on 24th December and 31st December, and $15 per person on Lunar New Year (28, 29, 30, 31/01/2025)
  • On the second day you will travel on a day boat and do not have access to the mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon (for 3 days/2 nights itinerary)

Dear Dylan, The shuttle ride takes around 2.5 hours from Hanoi Old Quarter area. After the trip, you will reach Hanoi between 2:30-3:00 pm. Our bus can only drop off in Hanoi Old Quarter. If you wish to book a flight, please book one from 5:30 pm to avoid rushing between places. We do not offer a direct bus to the airport but we can arrange a private car waiting for you on the way back to connect the ride to Hanoi Airport. The surcharge for this trip to the airport is $10/person and you will reach the airport at 3:30 pm. Should you need further assistance about your upcoming trip, please feel free to ask! Dear Ashley, Thank you for your email! We are so happy to hear from you! I would like to answer your questions as follows: (1) Yes, the boat can cater to your food restrictions for sure. (2) The shuttle bus is free in March 2024 with pickup/drop off in Hanoi Old Quarter. (3) The free bus cannot drop off at Hanoi airport so we will arrange a private car to pick you up on the way from Halong to Hanoi then go straight to Noi Bai airport and the extra fee is USD 20 for 2 persons. Dear Viji, Thank you for contacting us! I would like to answer your questions as follows: (1) After the cruise, the bus will drop you off in the Hanoi Old Quarter/ Hanoi Center at 2:30 - 3:00 PM. After dropping all guests, our van can continue to the Hanoi Airport and you will reach the airport at 4:00 PM. The surcharge of this trip to the airport is USD 10/ person. Or if you prefer a direct transfer from Halong to Hanoi Airport, we can also arrange a private car transfer at USD 110/ car for 2 persons. We couldn't find a better crew on other ships, except for La Pandora. The whole crew was dedicated and professional. Kevin was a knowledgeable and funny leader guy. Overwhelmed by spacious bedroom as well as a relaxing balcony. More than the food, it was a feast! Thank you, great hospitality

Excellent from top to bottom, from start to finish. The ship was comfortable, had well appointed cabins and really tasty food. Victor showed off his knowledge by providing really interesting information about the area. Spectacular views from the deck and the bay at night.

Victor is excellent at his job he always organized, helpful, caring for all. We had the best time!! We loved the trips on the local boat and great interaction with the underwater community. The rooftop was amazing especially providing great drinks in the evening before bed. The view of Halong at night was magical!!!

Spent 2 days with La Pandora going to halong bay. It was great. Victor was our waiter he was very punctual, very knowledgeable, always went out of his way to make sure we were all well taken care of. The others were great too: hospitable, helpful and really professional, organized. We highly recommend this trip it's a must do in VN.

They picked me up close the hotel as our Airbnb didn't allow parking in front of the door. On time and no issues. They communicated easily and always knew what we wanted. Kayaking while looking at the cave and it was so peaceful. Amazing view!!!!

Kevin was a great tour guide. He was easy going to talk to, always energetic, and took good care of everyone. The food was tasty, and I liked how they had different activities to keep things fun. A la carte dinner and late breakfast were my favorite part. The room was clean and had lots of windows, so I could enjoy the view from my bed. I had a really good time and would love to do it again.

Good Ha Long Bay tours on La Pandora. Tours were long enough to take in small boat trips and relax. Kevin is an experienced local expert with a wealth of knowledge in English communication skills and all information about the bay. I’ll for sure return to chat with him more. The food was also top quality.
