Mon Cheri Cruise is set to depart at noon from Tuan Chau International Marina, around 2.5 hours from Hanoi. If you book shuttle bus service, the pick up time is between 8:30 - 9:00am at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Afternoon

Mon Cheri Cruise welcomes you on board with a complimentary drink. After the safety instructions, guests check in the cabin and the cruise starts cruising and explore Lan Ha Bay. You have lunch while the cruise passes stunning islets and islands. These amazing limestone karst formations rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner.

Mon Cheri Cruise accesses Tra Bau Area where guests can kayak to enjoy the stunning view of Lan Ha Bay. Afterward, guests cannot miss swimming activity in the blue-jaded seawater or soaking in the outdoor jacuzzi pool of the cruise.

Early evening

The cruise check-in time is 11:30am and it normally takes around 45-60 minutes to transfer from Cat Bi Airport to Halong thus you will have enough time for it. I would like to answer your questions as follows: 1) The cruise has a triple cabin for a maximum of 3 adults yet you have a total of 4, I suggest you take 2 Ocean cabins connecting for more comfort. 2) The shuttle bus does not pick up from Hanoi airport to Got Pier, Haiphong (cruise pier) yet we offer a private 7-seat car at a cost of US$115/car/way. It takes you around 2 hours on the new highway. You can book the shuttle bus after the cruise to get to Hanoi Center at a cost of US$15/person/way for more cost-saving. I hope this helps. Hi. I wonder if Mon Cheri has a cabin for 4 adults? We are planning to have a birthday trip on the cruise and celebrate something special together. Thanks!

Dear Peng! Thank you for contacting us! Mon Cheri Cruise (the 24-cabin one) does have an Elegance Family room including 1 double bed and 2 single beds on the second deck. Besides, you can also choose the Connecting Ocean Suites on the first deck. The cruise offers a complimentary birthday cake if your day trip is the same as the birthday. The room was beautiful, spacious, with a private balcony. The boat was clean. The staff were extremely kind and polite. We appreciate what they did to make our vacation wonderful.

5 star service. Professional staff, responsive. We were a bit worried at first because of severe fish allergy but the staff prepared everything separately. Lots of fun activities, including visiting caves and ancient villages. We recommend you to come here at least once in your life.

Aya Nakamura (Japanese) 👍The boat gave us an amazing experience and we really loved it. The staff were very attentive to each customer and made sure everyone was catered for. The service was great from Roy who was excellent from start to finish and went out of their way to make the time great. Cooking demos led by Yone was fun and full of experiences with meaningful stories about each dish. The room was well equipped with 5 star standard amenities, private balcony. Private jacuzzi inside the room. The sky bar + jacuzzi had a great view and the drinks were amazing. Especially at night when the sparkling scene appeared with the cool breeze, it was romantic. The activities were fun. We really liked Viet Hai village and decided to cycle there. Definite mention the food here, it was the best!!!!!!!!!! The seafood, salad, grilled cheese were great. The staff were also very helpful in helping you avoid foods you are allergic to. It was amazing. So many dishes that we didn't even know how to start haha. Thank you Mon Cheri, the crew, Halong Bay and travel agency Halongbay tours for such a memorable experience.

This trip really left a mark on me. Worth every penny. Jennie was our waitress, she was awesome, super on top of everything. The food was so good. Kayaking and the view were just beautiful. I enjoyed how the light was so soft while kayaking. My room was on the corner, so I got tons of sunlight from both sides. The staff took care of us and made sure we were happy the whole time.

One of my best trips ever! I had such a good time and would recommend it to everyone. What I loved most was the staff. They made me feel so welcome, especially Harry. I can’t eat beef, and he made sure to keep it away from me. He was super nice and caring. We also did a spring roll cooking class, and it was really fun to eat what we made. The whole team was friendly and helpful, not just Harry, but just a pity I can’t remember all their names.
The room was beautiful, the bed was comfy, I loved massive windows and balcony with a great view. The activities were fun too, I liked that there was a good mix so you had time to relax in between. Overall, the cruise was amazing, but it was the staff that made it even more special. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thanks so much!

Experience was beyond amazing, easily 10000/10. There wasn't a single thing to dislike! Choosing to spend the night in the middle of the bay was the best decision we could have made. Highly recommend this cruise to anyone, even solo travelers looking for a once in a lifetime adventure. The crew went above and beyond to give us some of the best memories we've ever had, especially our dear Jenny, who treated us like family. Without a doubt, I’ll choose Mon Cheri again the moment I get the chance to return to Vietnam.

This isn't our first time booking a tour with Mon Cheri but the later time is always better than the last. We kept booking a suite to get a nice view and lots of massive windows to let in the morning sun. A large bed, soft-smelling blankets, extremely comfortable massage chair. My favorite part is the very nice kayaking. Overall a nice trip to take a vacation.

This was our first time doing this and we were blown away. I would recommend this tour over any other option. I couldn't describe how modern & clean it is and what the staff could do for us, beyond words. Do try it and see for yourself, it will not disappoint!
