Mon Cheri Cruise is set to depart at noon from Tuan Chau International Marina, around 2.5 hours from Hanoi. If you book shuttle bus service, the pick up time is between 8:30 - 9:00am at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Afternoon

Mon Cheri Cruise welcomes you on board with a complimentary drink. After the safety instructions, guests check in the cabin and the cruise starts cruising and explore Lan Ha Bay. You have lunch while the cruise passes stunning islets and islands. These amazing limestone karst formations rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner.

Mon Cheri Cruise accesses Tra Bau Area where guests can kayak to enjoy the stunning view of Lan Ha Bay. Afterward, guests cannot miss swimming activity in the blue-jaded seawater or soaking in the outdoor jacuzzi pool of the cruise.

Early evening

Return to the boat and head up to the top deck to watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. Join the cooking demonstration with traditional food and Happy Hour – BUY ONE GET ONE FREE at the bar.

Lunch is served on the day cruise.

Afternoon

I would like to answer your questions as follows: 1) The cruise has a triple cabin for a maximum of 3 adults yet you have a total of 4, I suggest you take 2 Ocean cabins connecting for more comfort. 2) The shuttle bus does not pick up from Hanoi airport to Got Pier, Haiphong (cruise pier) yet we offer a private 7-seat car at a cost of US$115/car/way. It takes you around 2 hours on the new highway. You can book the shuttle bus after the cruise to get to Hanoi Center at a cost of US$15/person/way for more cost-saving. I hope this helps. Dear Ms. Olivia Keung, Thank you very much for your question! The family cabin posted on our website is 45sqm in size and has 1 double and 1 single bed (not roll away bed). Kayaking is already included in price. May I know if you have a trip date? Hello My husband and I are planning to visit Vietnam later this month. We are considering a trip to Halong Bay during our stay. I have a few questions: 1. I have food intolerances so cannot eat wheat and gluten. Could you manage to provide alternatives? 2. Where is the pick up point in Hanoi? 3 We are staying with family in Vietnam, so wonder if it would be possible for us to be picked up at their apartment in Hanoi. Thanks.

Dear Mr./ Ms. Kwon, Thank you very much for your question. Mon Cheri cruises use VIP limousine D-Car bus for guests transfer from Hanoi. At the moment we are also offering free bus for booking date from now until 30 April (travel date until December 2018). Normally it costs $35/person for this service. We plan to book mon cheri cruise on 5/17/2018 for 2 people and one 15 months baby. Is the baby counted as third person? I noticed for some cruises when we entered 2 adults + 1 child it did not show regular room but only family room options, which are almost double the price. Can we book Mon Cheri suite for our family? Also your site showed free round trip shuttle promotion, does it apply to May too or just up to April 30th? Thank you!

Dear Peng! Thank you for contacting us! Mon Cheri Cruise (the 24-cabin one) does have an Elegance Family room including 1 double bed and 2 single beds on the second deck. Besides, you can also choose the Connecting Ocean Suites on the first deck. The cruise offers a complimentary birthday cake if your day trip is the same as the birthday. It was a wonderful trip. We paid a little over our budget but what we got was worth every penny. The service was top-notch. The food was amazing and restaurant staff could not be more helpful and kind. They made sure our diet was well taken care of. Jennie, Cherry went above and beyond. Thank you very much. 2 days/1 night on Mon Cheri was our dream trip. Planned for our honeymoon for months and the staff of Halongbaytours helped us at every step. The room onboard was excellent with a whirlpool. The crew was super friendly, polite and helpful. Our dinner was a blast with a honeymoon table. Everything was faultless. Thank you very much and will recommend you guys for sure!
