Day 1: Hanoi - Bai Tu Long Bay
Morning:

Our shuttle bus will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Halong International Cruise Port on a 3 hour ride (not included in cabin cost), then you will be transferred into small tender boat to Signature Cruise. When you get on board, welcome drinks are served while our crew member complete the safety procedure and check you into your cabin.

Afternoon:
Have lunch with special foods while cruising through famous sights by limestone karst....The cruise stops at Vung Vieng Fishing Village. You will kayak around the village and learn about the daily life of fisherman on the bay. If the village does not take your fancy, you can relax on board and sunbathe on the top deck. 
Evening:

Back to the boat to wait for the sun setting while Happy Hour buy 2 drinks get 1 free is ready at the bar. For those who love Vietnamese food and desire to learn how to make some simple dishes, a Vietnamese cooking class is available right before the dinner.

Early birds can attend the morning Tai Chi session on upper deck. Light breakfast will be served to get your energy up before being transfered to day boat and visit Cong Dam Area of Bai Tu Long Bay. Here you can immerse in the crystal clear water, sunbathe on the sandy beach or kayak.
Afternoon:
Traditional lunch will be served on day boat. Take some time to freshen up before getting backk to Signature Cruise, relax at your own leisure. At 5:30pm, bar will open the Happy hour program or you can join the cooking demonstration held by our chef.
Evening:
Another set menu dinner will be served. You can later spend free evening film entertainment (in the dining room); squid fishing; massage or meet new people in social area.

Hi, are you able to clarifiy if the Exclusive Family Suite has a balcony? The main page advertise the Elite Family Suite as having a balcony but not the Exclusive Family Suite. When I click into the Exclude Family Suite DETAIL it does mention a balcony.

If not, where is the exact pick up location from Hanoi (please provide address) and what time? What is the total price for the bus from Hanoi to Halong Bay and back to Hanoi? For drop-off at Hanoi, is it at our hotel or it is at a fixed drop-off point (please provide address). 2) Do we get all meals onboard for the 2D1N and are there all buffets? Dear Lim, I would like to answer your questions below:

1. Our bus will pick you up at your hotel if it is in Hanoi Old Quarter or nearby area. If your hotel address is too far from the Old Quarter, the pick up address is at our office at 72 Hang Trong, Hoan Kiem.

2. The bus fee depends on which cruise you want to book and the drop off point is the same as pick up.

3. For a 2 day 1 night trip, you will have 2 lunches, 1 dinner and 1 breakfast. The meals will be buffet and set menu. If you cannot eat beef, the cruise will have alternative foods such as pork, chicken, seafood...

4. Besides the room cost, you will pay for drinks, spa service on your own expenses.

5. Kayaking is free for most cruises now. It's easy to do it by yourself without a guide

If you are arriving by air, I suggest you to take flight that arrives in Hanoi no later than 7:30am so as to be on time for the cruise. Hello there Signature me and two of my friends are going to vietnamn in november and are considering to take a cruise with you, just have a couple of question : Were do you book the shuttlebus or private car? and i can see that the shuttlebus costs 30 dollars per person hanoi-halong-hanoi, but whats does the private car cost the same route ? And as i said, we are looking to go on a cruise in late of november, should we book as soon as possible or is that something we can wait with for some time ? /// D

Dear Mr. Daniel, Thank you very much for contacting us! For your information, private car costs $110/car if you take 2 day trip or $130/car if you take 3 day trip. As November is our peak season and over half of the date are fully booked already, I strongly recommend you to consider booking in advance. Otherwise the cruise may get fully booked quickly. If you are strict vegetarians (do not eat even seafood, egg, milk) the boat will prepare some dishes with vegetable, mushroom... for you. Dear Chew, As you are 2 families with 2 children/ each thus I am afraid that 4 of you can not stay within 01 cabin even for Junior or Senior suite cabin thus you may need to go with 03 cabins for 2 families ( 2 kids - stay at a twin cabin) another 2 kids will share the same beds with parents to save cost. Your cabin cost will charge as 75% based on parents' cabin. An alternative is to take 2 family suites - which will be easier for you to attend to your children. Dear Manoela, Many thanks for writing to us. The cost for transfer by shuttle bus is $15/person/way or $30/person/round trip. The bus can only pick up and drop off from hotels inside Hanoi Old Quarter. You can pay a deposit by credit card and the rest can be in whichever currency you prefer (USD or VND). Best regards,

Hi Julie, Thank you for your question! As your group has 5 adults, I suggest you take either a family suite + a junior suite, or 2 junior suites with extra bed. The maximum capacity a cabin on Signature can hold is 4 adults only. For your information, Signature Cruise is available for charter but with 12 cabins, the cruise may be a bit too much for your group. I suggest you consider Legend Halong Cruise 3 cabins, Amira Cruise 3 cabins, or Valentine Cruise 5 cabins, which are closer match. Best regards,

The itinerary, the food, and almost the staff were top-notch. We got shuttled between ships for different excursions, which was nice since we weren’t stuck in one spot the whole time.
But the room was way smaller than advertised, and the amenities didn’t match the large amount we paid. It was really disappointing considering how much we spent. I wanted to bring it up with them, but I just didn’t have much time to do like this.

Everything fit perfectly. Pickup and drop-off right at my hotel were super convenient, and welcoming staff was fantastic! Manager Tom kept us informed and was always there when we needed him. Everyone on tours was friendly and nice. The ease of getting between locations was truly amazing!

The 2-day tour was packed with fun! Everything was well planned with plenty of options. Only downside is you don’t get enough time for the activities you really enjoy. The fishing village felt more commercialized this time and wasn’t as friendly as when I visited in 2016.

It’s a small boat with only 12 cabins, so you don’t feel crowded at all. The staff took care of everything, especially Tom, who speaks great English and explained to us all details about Bai Tu Long Bay. The boat is perfect for a relaxed vacation. You can tell it’s been around a while, maybe because of the humidity or just years of use, but luckily there’s no bad smell though, it might feel more worth the price on a newer boat. They really went out of their way to improve every little detail and made sure we were always comfortable. Oh, and Vietnamese coffee is a must-try!

The cruise only had 12 cabins which means fewer guests surrounded you and you could enjoy in larger rooms this is truly a little-known experience. Our room had a nice balcony with a view of the beautiful limestone mountains we booked a 1 night cruise and the time flew by wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were kind and attentive!

Quick check in/check out. Captain Tom was fantastic at getting everything organized. Comfortable rooms.
The ship needs some improvement. Day 2 was a quick cruise with tai chi session, early breakfast, then a tour of a local cave and then a brunch before we could leave the ship.
