About Starlight Cruise
Starting to sail at Halong Bay from April 2013, Starlight Cruise was among the newer group of cruises operating at this bay, and soon become one of the most luxurious ones. With 4 decks and an area of 600m2 per deck, the cruise provides 32 cabins, including 30 deluxe cabins and 2 superior Suites, with cozy space and modern amenities to passengers to enjoy their trips in most satisfied and convenient ways. Cruise itinerary

Pick up from hotel for a 2.5 hour ride to Halong Bay. After embarking on the cruise, guests are checked in and introduced briefly about the cruise. Lunch is served onboard at 13.15 pm.
Afternoon:The cruise lead travelers through many of scenic attractions of the bay like Fighting Cocks, Swan Islets or Dog Rock before porting at Sung Sot cave - the largest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. After that, the cruise travels to Titop Island where you can relax on the beach, swim, or climb up to the top of the moutain to watch a panoramic view of Halong bay. Back to the cruise and proceed to the sleeping area. Cruise drops anchor overnight. It's time for happy hour, cooking class, or you can book a spa or play mini golf on board.
Evening:Dinner is served at 7.00 pm and passengers have whole night for relaxing, fishing squid, or enjoying the cruise's amenities.

Early-wakers have time on Taichi lesson on Sun Deck and morning tea with biscuits and fruits is available from 7.00 - 8.00am. The rest of that morning is for some visit to Luon Cave. You can opt for kayaking or taking a sampan boat rowed by a local. Lunch is served at 10.30 am - 11.30 am and cruise disembarks at 11.45 am.

Taichi lesson is available on Sundeck from 6.30 to 7.00 am, and passengers are served morning tea with biscuits and fruits at 7.00 to 8.00 am. For the rest of this day until 16.30pm, travelers spend time on the Day Boat to visit deeper parts of Halong Bay with various activities like kayaking, swimming and sunbathing on the beach, or climbing.
You access Trinh Nu Cave - one of the most pristine caves by kayaking and can walk to discover the pristine scenery with stalactites and stalagmites. Stop for lunch before visit a local pearl farm in the afternoon. Then, time for swimming at Soi Sim Beach. In late afternoon, return to mother boat and join other activities onboard.
Evening:Dinner is served at 7.00pm. The night is for guests to use freely.

- Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay:
- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such case, we will make alternative travel arrangement for you on request or offer refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

- Peak season surcharge : Surcharge $35/person for Gala dinner applies if guests stay on board on December 31st.
- Shuttle bus : $30/adult and $20/child under 12 round trip. Pick up point: at hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or in front of Hanoi Opera House
- More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates
- From 10 to 7 days prior to check in: 30% of total rates.
- Less than 7 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.

Hello! t’s not clear. Does the Satrlight cruise visit Ti Top Island or not? What time does the tour end on the second day? We need to be at Hanoi airport by 4 PM. Will we make it on time?
Dear Marcelo Santos, Titop Island is included in the itinerary of Starlight Cruise. The cruise returns to the port at around 11:30. You will be back in Hanoi Center at 2:30 - 3:00 pm and have enough time to get to the airport. Regards, Tearis

The food was great and plentiful. The staff was friendly and the tour guide did an excellent job. The facilities were well maintained and the ship itself was beautiful. Our cabin had a window with a nice view. Overall a nice experience.
We had a wonderful time on Starlight. The view is marvelous and the staff made our trip the best. Everyone was friendly and always looked after us. A bunch of activities were included such as caving, kayaking, swimming, cooking class, morning taichi, etc. If we had the chance, we would book 2 nights to have more time to relax and enjoy the view.
We booked 1 night on Starlight Cruise. The ship was clean and the cabin was spacious. Food was average. The activities were abundant but a bit too many. The attractions were crowded because almost all cruises came at the same time. Anyway, the scenery was spectacular.
The ship is big but needs some maintenance. The cabin was nice and the staff was friendly. Recommended.
Tery did a very good job. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. The trip to the floating fishing village was interesting. We learned much about the local life of the people here. Definitely worth your money.
The trip was well planned. Kayaking was the best activity. Mr. Lang was excellent tour guide who was always friendly and took care of us so well.
