No. Not a floating fishing village but a local village on Cat Ba Island will be included in the 2-night program on Stellar of the Seas.
For 2 day-1 night itineraries, travelers will swim or kayak in a natural lagoon in Lan Ha Bay and visit Dark-Bright Cave by kayak or local sampan boat. For 3 day-2 night itineraries, a day boat will pick you up for the outdoor excursions on Cat Ba Island and further part of Lan Ha bay on Day 2. Visitors can cycle around Viet Hai Village - a traditional village with rustic paths and stunning views of dense jungles and mountains.
Which one is better, Stellar of the Seas or Elite of the Seas?
Stellar of the Seas and Elite of the Seas are sister cruises of Aclass Group - a reputable cruise company in Halong Bay. While Stellar was launched earlier in 2018 with fewer cabins (22 cabins), the sister Elite came up in 2022 with a larger capacity (35 cabins) and upgraded facilities such as an elevator and sauna. However, guests can experience varied facilities on both cruises such as an outdoor pool, mini golf, poker club, wine & cigar cellar, spa, restaurant, bar, and fitness room.
Besides, all cabins on both cruises have a private balcony with an ensuite bathroom and tub. You will savor delightful meals with plenty of local and international dishes. For itinerary, both Stellar and Elite sail to Lan Ha Bay with thrilling spots such as Dark-Bright Cave, Ao Ech Area, etc.
In short, there is not much difference in cruise facilities and service quality that both cruises offer. If you prefer a smaller ship for more privacy, Stellar of the Seas is definitely the one. If you want to experience a newer cruise and do not hesitate to a bigger crowd, go ahead with Elite of the Seas. The choice is yours.
