Frog Pond Area
Overview
Lan Ha Bay, which is located in the East of Cat Ba Island, is a tranquil bay with roughly 400 large and small islands and 130 little golden sand beaches that together provide a stunning natural scene. Hundreds of rocky islands covered in lush greenery make up Lan Ha Harbor, a paradise bay where Frog Pond is situated. The Frog Pond region, which is a sizable bay area enclosed by islands and has a lovely natural landscape, is renowned for its peace and tranquility.
Natural beauty
The entire area is an untouched landscape created by karst limestone islets surrounding crystal clear waters and small pristine sandy beaches. The density of limestone islets here is quite high. The islets remain untouched and divide the sea into small lagoons and bays, many of which have yet to be explored.
Things to do
Frog Pond is perfect for water activities, especially kayaking. This water sport enables you to go closer to the rocky mountains while passing by little islands and caves, and it also gives you many dramatic views of marine life beneath the crystal-clear sea. You may try a stand-up kayak for a more unique experience on the water if you would like something a little more challenging.
This place is also ideal for scuba diving due to its prospective marine scenery. The coral layers, the attractive and abundant marine life, and the crystal clear water are what draw tourists there. In addition, if you are certain that you are wearing a life jacket, this region is also appropriate for swimming.
The number of visitors to Lan Ha Bay in general and Frog Pond in particular remains modest. Therefore, visitors to Frog Pond can really immerse themselves in the midst of unspoiled nature, without noise or a speck of dust, and in a greener, cleaner and more beautiful natural site.
