The legend of Trinh Nu Cave originated from the tale of a beautiful woman and her love who worked far from home. The woman was employed by a local landlord, who sought to marry her, but she refused his advances. In his desperation, the guy took her to a desert island. Over time, the woman grew exhausted and eventually turned to stone. The place where she met her tragic end is now known as Trinh Nu Cave.
