Location

Trung Trang Cave is an indispensable part of the Trung Trang Valley distanced just 1 kilometer from Cat Ba National Park's center. Close to the Kim Giao Natural Forest, the cave allures visitors to explore these stunning destinations during their journey to Cat Ba. Also known as Hai Quan Cave, it used to be a strategic military base for the Command. Legends

The legend of the cave is closely intertwined with the history of Cat Ba Island, which has lasted centuries. Passed down through generations, Cat Ba is an inherently beautiful gem featuring a wide range of islands and islets. In times of conflict, when foreign invaders intended to conquer the area, a brave woman named Ba Chua Trung Trang gathered the local men to defend their homeland at sea. After the glorious victory, Ba Chua returned to the cave to safeguard the lives of the citizens. In honor of her courage and contribution, the cave was named Trung Trang Cave.
